Add an organisational unit type

An organisational unit type represents a certain layer in the organisation chart. Profit is supplied with a number of default organisational unit types, but you can add types yourself.

You can have multiple organisation unit types on the same layer. This does not apply to layer 0. This layer only applies to the holding level.

To add an organisational unit type:

  1. Go to: HR / Organisation / Organisation chart.
  2. Open the organisation chart structure.
  3. Click on:  to view the organisational unit types.
  4. Click on: .
  5. Enter the data.
  6. Click on: Finish.
