Email to sign on in relation to the new sign-on method not received

f you sign on for the first time on www.afasonline.nl, you will receive an email message with a verification code. Use the verification code to verify your email address for the new sign-on method. Did you not receive this email message? Then go through the steps below!

1. My organisation has not yet switched to the new sign-on method

You can also already sign on to the portal www.afasonline.nl for the switch to the new sign-on method. You can then already define a new password and mobile telephone number. Once you have entered your email address, this screen will be displayed.

If this screen is not displayed, check the following:

  • Are you using the correct email address? The Profit application administrator in your organisation has recorded this in the Authorisation tool.
  • When the administrator records your email address, you can sign on via www.afasonline.nl the next day. If, for example, the administrator has recorded your email address on 24 September (before 8 p.m.), on 25 September you can sign on.

    This condition will no longer apply if the organisation has gone live with the new sign-on method. In this case, the administrator can therefore create a user with an email address and this user can sign on immediately.

2. My organisation has already switched to the new sign-on method

If you have already switched to the new sign-on method, ask the Profit application administrator to check the following:

  1. Go to: General / Management / Authorisation tool.
  2. Open the properties of the user who has no access.
  3. The user must not be blocked. Therefore, the Blocked field must not be selected.
  4. Which email address has been recorded for the user?
  5. Does the user have rights on Profit Windows or InSite? Without these rights, the user cannot sign on to afasonline.nl.

3. Check the spam filters

If you have completed the steps above but an email is not arriving, check your spam filter. If your spam folder does not contain any email messages either, ensure that the AFAS Online email address is allowed to go through:

  • Ensure that no-reply@afasonline.com is allowed in from the user's mailbox;
  • Ensure that no-reply@afasonline.com is allowed in from the receiving mail server and/or the spam filter of the organisation.
  • If your spam filter stops incoming emails based on the IP address, put the IP address 185.46.182.0/24 on the whitelist so that the emails do arrive.
