Switching the authentication method

You can always change the authentication method. For example, are you still using text messaging and do you want to switch to AFAS Pocket? Follow the steps below.

  1. Go to www.afasonline.nl and log in.
  2. Go to the Settings/Security tab.
  3. Click the authentication method that you want to use.

  4. Follow the steps for your chosen method.

Switch to text messaging:

If you do not log in by using text messaging, you can switch to text messaging.

Note:

Do you want to continue using text messaging in 2022? Messagebird must then be configured by your organisation's administrator. After setting up Messagebird, logging in through text messaging is only possible if your email address is registered for a single participant number. If the email address is registered for several participant numbers, you still need to log in through AFAS Pocket or an external authenticator app.
