Add a question using an entry layout

You can quickly add questions using an entry layout. Using an entry layout, you can add specific selection groups to choice questions. A specific selection group is associated with one specific question. You record the possible answers to this question in the properties of the question. A specific selection group cannot be linked to another question.

To add questions using an entry layout:

  1. Go to: General / Survey / Configuration / Question.
  2. Click on the action: Add multiple questions.
  3. Select the desired question category (otherwise all questions already recorded in the entry layout are shown when you press F5).

    Profit displays the questions that have already been linked to the question category.

  4. Click on: New.
  5. Complete the Question code field.
  6. Click on: the search window for the Question column.
  7. Enter the question.
  8. Click on: OK.
  9. Complete the remaining fields. 
  10. To use a specific selection group, follow these steps:
    1. Select Multiple choice or A few choices in Question type.
    2. Select the Specific check box.
    3. Click on the action: Add selection options.

      Profit opens a new entry layout for the selection options.

    4. Enter the choices.
    5. Click on: Finish

    You return to the entry layout with questions. You can immediately add another question.

  11. Click on: Finish.
