Financial recalculation (cumulatives)

If you add entries in an administration, Profit automatically updates a separate cumulatives table. Profit uses this table for the display of ledger account balances, the trial balance, the extended trial balance, etc. This table allows Profit to display this data directly whenever you need it, without the need for additional calculation time. It may also be necessary to recalculate the cumulatives for order management and for fixed assets.

In the following situations, Profit automatically recalculates the Financial cumulatives:

  • If you change a number of a ledger account/debtor/creditor;
  • If you change a ledger account with regard to the result or one of its allocations;
  • If you change a summary account for a ledger account/debtor/creditor;
  • If you set up/change a deviating balance account;
  • If you change an allocation code;
  • If you merge an (organisation/person/debtor/creditor);
  • if you add currencies;
  • If you change the period table or add periods.

A message then appears telling you that you need to recalculate the cumulatives. Click on OK to start the recalculation.

You can also start the recalculation manually.

To start the Financial recalculation of the cumulatives manually:
