Complete a cost estimate

Once you are finished with the cost estimate and do not want to copy it to the actual costing, you can 'Complete' it manually. The cost estimate is then completed and you can no longer make any changes to it. Furthermore, the completed cost estimate cannot be copied to the actual costing. This changes the quotation status to Manually completed.

If you manually set an existing cost estimate to Completed, no entry will be created for this cost estimate.

You cannot finalise cost estimates/quotations if the status is Manually completed.

If the cost estimate/quotation contains stock-tracked articles, you also release the reserved stock (cost estimates with partial deliveries cannot be deleted).

To complete a cost estimate manually:

  1. Go to: Projects / Cost estimate / Cost estimate.
  2. Select the cost estimate(s).
  3. Click on the action: Complete.
  4. Click on Yes in the message
  5. Click on: OK.
