E-mail and print the cost estimate/quotation

You can e-mail and print cost estimates in various ways.

Note:

Depending on the layout chosen when e-mailing and printing, only lines from the cost estimate/quotation in which the Charge check box is selected will be printed. Only these lines are valid as quotation lines.

This applies to the supplied default quotation report. You can also create your own report and select the check boxes in the settings.

Description

If you print the cost estimates/quotations in bulk, you have the option of e-mailing and saving them in the sales contact and project dossier at the same time and in the same run.

It is also possible to e-mail or print an individual cost estimate. You would do this, for example, if the sales contact/debtor informs you that he did not receive the cost estimate.

Preparation

  • Configure report printing and e-mailing

    You specify whether the sales contact/debtor should receive an e-mail or a quotation by post in the sales contact profile and the sales contact itself. In the sales contact, you set for each report type whether the client would like to receive it by e-mail.
