Create an order from a quotation

Orders can be copied from a quotation. This means that the data from the selected quotation is copied to the sales order.

To add a sales order based on a quotation:

  1. Go to: Order Management / Sales process / Sales order.
  2. Click on: New
  3. If multiple entry layouts are available then select an entry layout.

    You now see the entry layout.

  4. Enter the Order number if you are not using auto numbering.
  5. Go to Corresponding quotation and select the quotation that you want to copy. If you do not see this field, then you must first add it, or have it added, to your entry layout.

    You now see the entire sales quotation as a sales order.

  6. Click on: Finish
