New sales price for a subscription article
You can add a new sales price to a subscription article.
This new price will apply automatically when invoicing, for all new subscriptions in which you include the subscription article or in new subscription lines. In existing subscriptions in which the article is already included with the old price, the old price remains visible. To show the new price there, you can revalue the subscription.
Profit includes the new article price in the basic price list in which the first sales price (which you entered when you added the subscription article) is already included. At the same time you indicate from when the new sales price will apply. The current price remains valid until the start date of the new price.
In principle, the prices are excluding VAT. In Profit Subscriptions, you can also work with prices inclusive of VAT. You must activate this first.
To add a new sales price for a subscription article:
- Go to: Subscriptions / Subscription / Sales price.
- Click on: New.
- Select a value for: Item type.
- Select the subscription article in Item code.
- Click on: Next.
- Select the Price via calculation check box, if you want to use a calculated price.
Profit will then determine the new sales price when you post a new entry. The price is based on a percentage on top of a calculation basis. You must now complete one of the following fields:
- Enter a percentage for calculating the new sales price. You can enter a positive or negative percentage.
- Select a calculation basis for calculating the sales price.
- Select the kind of rounding that you want to use for the new sales price.
- Enter the date from when the (new) price should be valid in Start date.
- Select the Volume price check box if you want to add volume prices for this article. You can only select this check box if you have selected the Price via calculation check box.
- Click on: Finish.
