Manage user accounts (tokens) for AFAS Pocket

When using AFAS Pocket, authentication is based on tokens (not on user name/password). The token is valid for the combination of environment/user/device. Most users have one single token. If a user uses the app on two devices, for example on an iPhone and an iPad, he has two tokens.

An administrator can delete a token from an environment. This may be required, for example if a user reports the loss of a telephone or tablet. By deleting the token, AFAS Pocket can no longer be used on the lost device. Once the user gets a new telephone or tablet, he can download and reinstall AFAS Pocket. A new token is automatically generated when the settings are recorded.

Deleting tokens from Profit 7:

  1. Open the environment that is used in combination with AFAS Pocket.
  2. Go to: General / Pocket App / Users.
  3. Go to the tab: Access.
  4. Delete the token that should no longer be used.

Deleting tokens up to Profit 6:

  1. Open the environment that is used in combination with AFAS Pocket.
  2. Go to: General / Management / App connector.
  3. Open the properties of the app connector Pocket App 2.
  4.  Go to the tab: User tokens.
  5. Delete the token that should no longer be used.
