Before you can add subscriptions and invoices, you must add the articles that you can select in the subscriptions.

Description
You can add three types of subscription articles:
- Subscription item without purchase
A subscription article without purchase is the simplest subscription article. You cannot link a normal article to this.
- Subscription item with purchase
For a subscription article with purchase you invoice the same amount periodically; except on the first invoice you also invoice a one-off amount, for example for 'the purchase' or administrative costs. This one-off amount is calculated via a normal article. The amount of this article therefore only appears on the invoice the first time, which explains the name ‘with purchase’. You add this normal article before you add the subscription article to which you want to link it.
- Assembled item
You use an assembled item to put several specific subscription articles with individual sales prices on an invoice at the same time. Furthermore, using this method you can enter the revenue for each article on a different turnover account.
These articles are actually the subscriptions themselves (for example magazine, licence, maintenance contract). You can include several subscription articles in a subscription.
You determine the price of a subscription based on the subscription articles.

You can add an assembled item to use in a subscription. You use an assembled item to put several specific articles with individual sales prices on an invoice at the same time. Furthermore, using this method you can enter the revenue for each article on a different turnover account.
