Perform a diagnosis of environments
You can use the Diagnosis option to create a diagnostic file for Profit and the system on which Profit is installed. You only create this file upon request by AFAS Support, for example, if you submitted an incident and more information is required about the network, an environment and its configuration. You then submit the diagnosis and a description of the problem to AFAS Support.
Creating the diagnostic file may take a while.
To create diagnostic file:
- Go to: General / Environment / Management / Information.
- Click on: Diagnosis.
- Click on: Next.
- Click on: Next.
- Enter the description of your problem.
- Click on: Next.
- Select the environments where a problem occurs.
- Select the Add system log books and Add file overview check boxes.
- Click on: Next.
- Use Add to manually add the files that you believe could be causing the problem.
- Click on: Next.
The diagnosis is performed.
- If necessary, change the location where you want to save the ZIP file with the report.
- Click on: Finish.
- Add the diagnostic file to the incident. Only AFAS Support can open the diagnostic file.
