View and change an absence message

Under the properties of an absence message, you can have a look at its history. This provides you with an overview of how an absence message has been handled. Profit records when all status changes have been made and who performed them. It is thus clear who has given the approval, whether they were submitted on time and how long the 'UWV' has taken to approve or reject them.

To view an absence message:

  1. Go to: HR / Presence and absence / UWV digital.
    • Current messages and messages to be approved

      These are absence messages with the Approved and To approve status.

    • Unprocessed and rejected messages

      These are absence messages with the Expired and REJECTED status.

    • Absence messages

      All absence messages

  2. Open the properties of the absence message.
  3. Go to the tab: History.

    You see the absence message history.

To change an absence message:

  1. Go to: HR / Presence and absence / UWV digital.
  2. Open the absence entry properties.
  3. Make the desired changes.

    Note: 

    You can only change an absence message if the status of the absence message is To approve. If an absence message is not correct and the status is Approved, Ready to send, Sent or Accepted by receiver, you can let it expire or revoke it. Afterwards, you can create a new absence message manually.

  4. Click on: OK
Complete an absence message

Absence messages cannot be complete after automatic generation. This is because Profit cannot retrieve sufficient information to complete the absence message. You can resolve this by adjusting the absence message manually.

The cause is the configuration of the tax authority agency at the employee level. For the tax authority agency at the employee level a particular type of income relationship has been specified, which means that supplementary data is required. You can check if the type of income relationship is correct.

Profit retrieves as much data as possible to fill the messages. In specific cases, some data is not present and must be added manually.

To complete an absence message:

  1. Go to: HR / Presence and absence / UWV digital.
  2. Open the absence entry properties.
  3. Go to the tab: Employment.
  4. Enter a value in Number of temp. labour agreements.
  5. Go to the tab: Casual/temp. staff.
  6. Enter a value in Number of times called up in the 52 weeks prior to first day of disability.
  7. Click on: OK
