Revalue a subscription

You can revalue the value of the subscription, which is to say that you allow Profit to recalculate the value from a specific reference date.

You would do this, for example if you have changed the prices of subscription articles.

If for a line, a sales amount is also to be invoiced, Profit will not include this sales amount in the subscription value. So this field only displays the amount that Profit will invoice in the cycle, including any period to be invoiced prior to the first full cycle.

Note: 

Action authorisation is applicable to this action.

To revalue a subscription:

  1. Go to: Subscriptions / Subscription / Subscription.
  2. Select the subscriptions
  3. Click on the action: Revaluate subscriptions.
  4. Enter a value in Reference date.

    Profit calculates the subscription value from the Reference date entered. If your new prices take effect from 1 October, you then revalue the subscriptions as per 1 October.

  5. Click on: Finish.
