I want to change the login method from text messaging to another authenticator app. How do I do this?

You can always change the authentication method. For example, are you still using text messaging and do you want to switch to another authenticator app? Follow the following steps:

  1. Go to www.afasonline.nl and log in with your email address and password and the code you received through a text message.
  2. Go to the Settings/Security tab.
  3. Click the authentication method that you want to use.

  4. Open the app on your phone (e.g. Duo Mobile, Google Authenticator, LastPass Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator).
  5. Next, scan the QR code on your screen.
  6. The app will give you a code of six digits.
  7. Enter it on your screen and click Next.

  8. If you have correctly scanned the code, a message will be displayed stating that your AFAS Online account has been linked.
