Configure entry layout actions

You can hide the actions in an entry layout, provide a different description and link to a hotkey. You can also change the sequence of actions.

When an entry layout is delivered all actions are visible. You can hide actions, provide a different description and link to a hotkey. If you hide an action it is no longer visible during entry. This makes the entry window clearer and reduces the risk of errors.

Change actions in an entry layout:

  1. Go to: General / Management / Entry layout.
  2. Open the entry layout.
  3. Go to the tab: Actions.

All actions are displayed at the left of the window, subdivided by section. Actions may be defined in the line, the header (together with the footer) and the selection. Profit displays all actions that you can change, default actions are not displayed.

  4. Select the desired action.
  5. You have the following options:
    • Enter a deviating description. Profit uses this instead of the default description.
    • Link a hotkey.
    • Hide the action.

Use Hide action if the action is not allowed to be used. This option is not available for some actions. If you hide an action, it is displayed in grey letters in the list of actions.

  6. Use the arrow keys at the bottom of the list of actions to change the sequence of the actions.
