Block manual entries to the ledger account

Fixed ledger accounts that are linked in various locations, for example to article groups or fixed asset groups, are used for the automatic generation of entries. To prevent users from posting to these accounts, you must block these ledger accounts for manual entries. In this way, you prevent differences between the subadministration and the financial administration.

To block manual entries on a ledger account:

  1. Go to: Financial / Ledger / Ledger account.
  2. Open the properties of the ledger account.
  3. Go to the tab: General.
  4. Click on: OK.
