Make a dossier item type visible in InSite and OutSite

Before you can use the dossier item type in a workflow, you must first make it visible in InSite and/or OutSite.

To make a dossier item type visible in InSite and OutSite:

  1. Go to: CRM / Dossier / Configuration / Dossier item type.
  2. Open the properties of the dossier item type.
  3. Go to the tab: In & OutSite.
  4. Select the Visible check box for InSite and/or OutSite.

    By making it visible in InSite and/or OutSite, Profit adds a Page type, Templates and Functionality automatically.

  5. Enter a plural description in Plural description.

    Enter a description for both InSite and OutSite, if you want to make the dossier item type visible in both.

    You enter a Plural description for the overview page that you generate automatically. This description must be unique. If invalid characters, such as '(', are used n the description, a message appears showing the invalid character.

  6. If applicable, select a report. If you select a report and use custom dossier item types, the fixed Print action is available in the workflow.
  7. Click on: OK.
  8. Open the properties of the dossier item type..
  9. Go to the tab: Destination.
  10. Select the destination.
  11. Click on the action: InSite on/off.
  12. Click on: OK.

    Fir this dossier item type, a page type has now been added automatically. You do still have to activate the page type for use in the site.

You can now add a page for this dossier item to the site.
