Order process entry layout settings

You add your own entry layouts for the order process. In the order process entry layouts, you record a number of settings and checks for the order processing. For example, you specify whether the credit limit should be checked or that a minimum/maximum order amount is required, etc.

Description

Using the entry layouts you can have a number of checks performed and specify some settings. For example, you can specify that the credit limit of the contact in question should be checked or that an order must always be saved to the dossier.

You set this up per entry layout. For example, you can specify that the entry layout for orders should check the credit limit, while the entry layout for quotations should not. Not all the same settings are available in every entry layout, but they are largely similar.

Procedure

  • Set default blocking of quotations and orders

    In the entry layout you can specify whether you want to block orders automatically after they have been added. You can configure this for the order and the quotation.

  • Set a credit limit check

    In the entry layout you can specify whether you want to check the credit limit when an order is added. You can set this up for the order and the quotation. You record the credit limit itself at the sales contact level.

  • Check the minimum and maximum amount of a quotation/order

    In the entry layout you can specify whether you want to block orders if the order amount is less than or more than a specific amount. You can configure this for the order and the quotation.

  • Set order printing

    In the entry layout, you specify whether you want to print the order once it is complete.

  • Set order e-mailing

    In the entry layout you specify if you want to automatically e-mail an order once it is completed.

  • Set up that orders are always placed in the dossier

    In the entry layout you can specify whether you want to place the order in the dossier on completion of an order. The order will be placed in the sales contact dossier in PDF format. You can set this for all entry layouts in the order process.

  • Enter order number manually

    In the entry layout you can specify whether you want to enter the order number manually. You can set this for all entry layouts in the order process.

  • Finalise a quotation immediately

    In the quotation entry layout you can specify whether you want quotations to become final immediately. You do this if it is not necessary to check new quotations before they are sent to the sales contact.

  • Copy a quotation after the expiry date

    In the quotation entry layout you can specify whether you want to copy quotations that have expired to an order. For the quotations that have expired, you can specify that Profit is never allowed to copy such quotations, is always allowed to copy such quotations or that Profit must always ask whether it should be copied.

  • Add a new order immediately

    In the entry layout you can specify whether you want to add a new order immediately after the completion of an order.

  • Redetermine price/discount for cumulative entry
