You can study and change a specific or a generic team by using the team view and the properties of a project.

Use the Team view to display and change a team

You use the Team view to display and change a team.

To use the Team view to display and change a team:

  1. Go to: Projects / Team / Team.

    Three views are available: Teams, Teams with linked projects and Teams with team members.

  2. Open the view:
    • Teams

      This view displays all specific and generic teams. The specific teams have the Specific check box selected.

    • Teams with linked projects

      This view displays all generic teams that are linked to a project.

    • Teams with team members

      This view displays all team members (employees and contacts) that are linked to a team.

  3. Open the properties of the team..

    You see the team members of this team. For a specific team the Specific to one project check box is selected. You cannot change this check box.

  4. Click on:New if you want to add new members to the team.
  5. Click on the action:Copy team members if you want to copy team members from a team or cost estimate. Please refer to the description in Copy team members for more information.
  6. Go to the tab:Image.

    You see an image of this team or you can add an image.

Use the project properties to and change a team

You use the properties of a project to view and change a team.

To use the project properties to view and change a team:

  1. Go to: Projects / Project / Project.
  2. Open the project properties.
  3. Go to the tab: Project management.

    If a team is linked to the project, you can go to Team on this tab to see which team is linked.

    Profit copies the data for Internal project manager andExternal project manager from the team data, if you have completed it there.

    If you have not linked a team, you can enter the Internal project manager and External project manager.

  4. Go to the tab: Team.

    If a team is linked, you see the members of this team.

  5. Click on the action: Maintain if you want to maintain a specific team. You can only maintain a generic team in the Projects / Team / Team view.

    Profit displays the team in question if a specific team is linked. If no team is linked yet, Profit opens an entry layout to add a new specific team.

  6. Click on: Finish.
  7. Click on: OK.
