Other Profit Tools

While Profit is being installed Tools that you can use for management tasks are installed on the server.

To view the Profit Tools:

  1. Go to the Profit server.
  2. Open the ..\Program Files (x86)\Profit\AFAS Windows\Kernel. folder

Some important tools:

  • Profit COM+ Setup

    Use this tool to reset the COM user's password.

    The COM+ user controls the communication between the Profit application server and the client. Run the tool to reset the password if you have forgotten to enable the 'nooit verlopen' (never expire) option.

  • Profit IIS Setup

    You can use this tool to set up IIS if you did not do this during the installation.

  • Profit Office Connector Setup

    This is the installation program for the Profit Office Connector, if you want to install the Office Connector via AD or SMS.
