Employer
In one Profit environment you can manage multiple employers and their employees.
Description
You can record your own organisation as an employer in Profit, but an accountants office can, for example, administer multiple employers via a single environment. In a large organisation you can use the business units as employers, for example. The wage processing in Profit Payroll plays an important role in your choice. If necessary, contact your AFAS Consultant for more information.
As an example, you can record the following information about an employer.
- Company data (name, address, phone number, etc.).
- The CLAs that apply for that employer. You only link the CLAs, not the terms of employment.
- Possible jobs of the employees.
- Various agencies, including the tax authorities. These are the only authorities you can link to the employer's employees.
- Preferred values (settings) for HR.
New employer during the wage year
You always have to start the salary processing for a new employer from period 1 even if the employer is defined in Profit in a later period.
