Specify the entry layout settings for financial entries

With the settings, you specify how the entry program records financial entries.

To specify the settings:

  1. Go to: Financial / Management / Administration settings.
  2. Go to the tab: General entries.
  3. Specify if zero amounts and negative amounts are allowed for entries.
  4. Select the Copy account name to purchase/sales journal check box to add the description of the ledger account as the description for the financial entry in the purchase and sales journal.
  5. Select the Copy account name to financial journal check box to add the description of the ledger account as the description for the financial entry in the financial journals.
  6. Go to the tab: Other entries.
  7. Select the journal for reconciling invoices.
  8. Click on: OK.
