Block a period in a journal

Profit uses the period table for all administrations in your environment. If you block a period in a period table, it is blocked for all administrations. If you have multiple administrations and you want to block a period for an administration in a journal, you can block the period in the journal(s) in question by setting the period to blocked in the journal properties. You specify this for the journals in question (thus one for one).

You can also block a period for an administration in the administration settings or for all administrations in the period table itself.

If it is required later on, you can always unblock a blocked period again.

To block a period in a journal:

  1. Go to:Financial / Ledger / Journal.
  2. Open the properties of the journal.
