Composition of the URL of pages

A page must have a URL, so that users can navigate to the page. Profit automatically builds these URLs.

A URL consists of the following parts: <domein>/<{vdir}> / <sjabloon> [ / <gegeven of beschrijving>]

  • domain: the domain of the site (for example www.afas.nl).
  • vdir: the virtual directory within which the site is opened (optional)
  • template: the publication name of the template for displaying the data.
  • data or description: the publication name of the actual page.

    Example:

    Page with process: www.outsite.nl/aanmaken-incident-dprs

    Customisation: www.outsite.nl/cursussen/cursusschema

    Show press release: www.outsite.nl/pers/EnYoi-maakt-weer-meer-winst

    Change page: http://www.outsite.nl/pers/EnYoi-maakt-weer-meer-winst-aanpassen

    Incident process page: www.outsite.com/eigenschappen-incident?id=43543

If a URL is no longer valid, you can add a URL redirection in Profit.
