Own risk bearer

If an employer is an own risk bearer, you can record this for the employer in Profit.

To record an own risk bearer:

  1. Go to: HR / Organisation / Employer.
  2. Open the employer’s properties.
  3. Go to the tab: Agency.
  4. Open the agency properties of the tax authority.
  5. Go to the tab: Taxpayer.
  6. Open the period line.
  7. Select the Own risk bearer check boxes for the insurances for which the employer is the own risk bearer.

If you select a particular check box, Profit no longer calculates the relevant premium. You do not have to modify any wage components.

  8. Click on: OK.

    Note:

The result of this is that Profit still displays the premium basis on the wage declaration, but that the employer no longer pays premiums to the tax authority. Thus, in the wage declaration in column 1, you still see the premium basis but no costs are charged in column 4.
