View, change or delete a leave entry

You can retrieve the properties of a leave entry by going to the properties of the employee.

You cannot change or delete leave entries if the date falls in a blocked period table.

Note:

If you are using the integration with actual costing, the following applies: If you change or delete an entry, Profit will automatically change or delete the relevant actual costing lines as well. This applies to both approved and unapproved actual costing lines.

If a change results in a change to approved actual costing lines, you must approve these lines again.

Profit will automatically modify or delete the relevant actual costing lines but these changes will not impact on the actual costing lines that have already been invoiced.

To view, change or delete a leave entry:

  1. Go to: HR / Employee / Employee.
  2. Open the properties of the employee.
  3. Go to the tab: Leave.
  4. Open the properties of the leave entry.
  5. For your information, you see the days of the leave entry on the Leave lines tab:
    • Employees with a weekly timetable, default timetable or work timetable

Profit only registers leave on days when work is supposed to be carried out according to the timetable.

    • Employees with a variable work pattern

Profit displays all the days between the start and end dates of the leave entry. The leave hours are divided over the days.

  6. Make the required changes.
    • In the case of an employee with a weekly timetable, default timetable or work timetable, Profit automatically determines the number of hours. You cannot modify this.
    • In the case of an employee with a variable work pattern (without work timetable) you can modify the number of hours.

After implementing a modification, the information on the Leave lines tab is updated when the leave entry is saved.

  7. Click on: OK.
