Check the sent e-mail messages

You can check whether the reports, e.g. the quotation, the sales order or the invoice, were e-mailed successfully.

If errors occurred while sending the messages, you can view and then resolve them.

To check the history of sent e-mail messages:

  1. Go to: General / Management / Message / History.

    You now see the log data of the e-mail messages that have been sent, including the date and time. You also see the message template to which the e-mail message was linked.

    In Description, you see the name of the report and for an order or invoice you see the corresponding invoice number. In Destination, you see the work e-mail address the message has been sent to.

    Message status Sent means that the message has been sent. The message status is also set to Sent if you have entered a wrong e-mail address. You are only warned about a wrong e-mail address in your e-mail program.

  2. If applicable, select the line with an error message (the message status is Error while sending).
  3. Click on the action: Error details.
  4. Click on: OK.
  5. Resolve the error by following the instructions in the error message.
