Manually add a sales invoice

As an exception, you can add a new invoice manually without a linked packing slip.

(Usually you will have Profit check if packing slips that have been reported ready are present and if invoices can be created automatically for them.)

You cannot manually add invoices for articles with stock. If you did so, Profit would not be able to update the stock because there is no packing slip. What you can do in that case, is add a counter/direct invoice.

If you add an invoice manually, Profit cannot collect it (combine it with other invoices for the same sales contact).

To manually add an invoice without a packing slip :

  1. Go to:
    • Order Management / Sales process / Invoice
    • Subscriptions / Invoicing / Pro forma invoices
    • Projects / Invoicing / Invoices
    • CRM / Course management / Invoicing / Invoices
  2. Click on: New.
  3. Select the entry layout to be used.

    The window for entering/editing appears.

  4. Enter the Invoice number if you do not use auto numbering.
  5. Select the sales contact.

The sales contact has the Debtor status and cannot be blocked. Data is copied from the properties of the selected sales contact. These include the VAT duty, Delivery address, Payment condition, Payment method, Currency and Collect.

If the debtor is not displayed, then the debtor is completely blocked.

  6. Complete the fields in the entry layout header.
  7. Add the item lines. Items containing stock are not permitted.

By entering negative quantities/amounts you create a credit note.

In the footer you can see the totals, among other things.

  8. Click on: Finish.
  9. Depending on the settings in the entry layout, questions may appear. Make a choice.
  10. If necessary, create another invoice.
  11. Click on: Cancel.
