Enter a sales invoice manually on a deviating administration

If you are working with multiple administrations, you can enter a manual invoice on an administration other than the default.

By default, Profit uses the sales contact profile of the sales contact to determine the administration where a logistics order/invoice should be entered. If an administration has not been entered in either the valid sales contact profile or in the default sales contact profile, and you configured the integration types, then the entry is made to the administration where you are located. If you want to deviate from the administration determined by default, then you must add the Administration field in the header of the entry layout of the invoices.

There is a modified procedure for projects.

To enter an invoice manually on a deviating administration:

  1. Go to:
    • Order Management / Sales process / Invoice
    • Subscriptions / Invoicing / Pro forma invoices
    • CRM / Course management / Invoicing / Invoices
  2. Click on: New.
  3. Select the entry layout to be used.

    The window for entering/editing appears.

  4. Enter the Invoice number if you do not use auto numbering.
  5. Select the sales contact.
  6. Change Administration to the administration where Profit should enter the invoice. You must have added this field in the header of the entry layout for invoices.

By default, you see the administration from the sales contact profile of the sales contact in this field. If an administration is not set there, then the administration from the default sales contact profile applies (*****). If an administration is not set there, then the administration where you are located applies (provided the integration types have been configured).

  7. Add the item lines.
  8. Click on: Finish.
