New workflow based on an existing one

You can add a new workflow that you base on an existing workflow. With the copying, the conditions, field controls and such like are not carried across.

Not every workflow can be copied and be used as the basis for a new workflow. If you want to know if a workflow can be copied, you can add the field Copying allowed to the new view.

To add a new workflow based on an existing one:

  1. Open Profit.
  2. Go to: CRM / Dossier / Configuration / Dossier item type.
  3. Open the properties of the dossier item type..
  4. Go to the tab: Workflows.
  5. Click on: New.
  6. Enter the description.
  7. Select based on an existing workflow in Selection.
  8. Select the workflow on which you want to base the new workflow.
  9. Click on: Finish.

    For example, in the properties of the workflow, you can change the description. Furthermore, you can add, insert, change or delete tasks and actions.

    At the bottom of the screen, you see the messages you still need to resolve before you can publish the workflow.

  10. Select a task.
  11. Click on:Ins_Wortkflow Beoordelen inschrijving inrichten (10) after Task intended for.
  12. Select the group or user to whom the task is intended and move it to the Addressed to frame.
  13. Select the Workflow intervention check box if you want to record this for this task.
  14. Click on: OK.
  15. In this way, build the entire workflow.
  16. Click on: Publish.
  17. Click on: OK.
