Manually change a price in a line

With the entry of a sales order line for an item, Profit generally proposes the applicable price. You can change this price manually in the line. A condition is that it is not a fixed price. This may not be changed in the entry window.

Note:

You can only find a manually changed line price in the order itself, not in the price lists or in the overview of prices per sales contact. For this reason it is preferable to create a price agreement. You can retrieve this in the contact’s overview and in the article properties.

Check the properties of the price:

The price may not be a fixed price because you cannot change this in a line in the entry window.

  1. Go to: Order Management / Sales / Price/discount / Sales price.
  2. Open the properties of the price of the article.
  3. In History, open the properties of the current price by double-clicking the line.

  4. Click on OK several times until the properties are closed.

To change the line price in the entry window:

  1. Go to: Order Management / Sales process / Sales order.
  2. Click on: New. 
  3. Select the entry layout. Sales order (Profit).
  4. Click on: OK. 
  5. Complete the fields.
  6. Change the price in the line.

    You see that Profit has automatically selected the Manual price check box. You cannot change this field. If you cannot see this field in your entry window, you can add it to your entry layout.

  7. Complete the order.
